  • The Education Alliance
The Education Alliance offer extensive services to new and experienced homeschoolers. They regularly advocate for homeschoolers rights in the state of Arkansas, ensure important notices and changes in laws are well know by the community, provide homeschool ID cards, homeschool transcripts, host homeschool graduation and so much more. The Homeschool Legal Defense Association advocates for homeschool freedom in all 50 states. They offer a membership which will grant you access to free legal advise, educational consults and legal representation should your right to homeschool ever be challenged.

Home Educators of Greater Little Rock (Home Ed) is a local support group for Little Rock area homeschoolers. They sponsor a wide variety of local events and activities including prom and high school graduation.

Central Arkansas Area Co-Ops:

The Decker School: The Decker School, located in Central Arkansas, emphasizes the importance of identifying every student’s unique strengths by providing a holistic learning environment, for children entering Kindergarten through 6th Grade. Mostly outdoor learning and options for one day, two day or full time classes. https://www.thedeckerschool.org/

H.O.P.E. Co-op: HOPE homeschool co-operative was formed in 2005 for the purpose of providing rigorous, college prep high school courses in a small group tutoring situation. They offer a wide range of courses taught by a talented and experienced group of tutors. Meets Mondays and Wednesdays August-May. https://www.lrhope.com/

SEEK - Science Enrichment Education for Kids:Established in 1999, Science Enrichment Education for Kids or SEEK provides experiential learning, through hands-on science lessons, in a fun indoor/outdoor classroom environment at their beautiful Ferndale campus. STEAM for the Next Generation: STEAM for the Next Generation is a high school program for Greater Little Rock area homeschoolers. We provide integrated, relevant, hands-on courses for small groups of homeschoolers in the math, science and STEAM related subjects. Central Arkansas Homeschool Academy: Central Arkansas Homeschool Academy is an Academy-style program: students gain access to top-notch instructors and a fun community one day per week, and the parents manage the homework throughout the rest of the week. Comm Central:  Comm Central is a Christian, classical homeschool academy that meets one day a week in the Central Little Rock area (with an optional second day for students 7th grade and above) Comm Central's Facebook Page

Classical Conversations: A Christian homeschool group that meets once a week during the school year. Students learn core subjects as well as fine arts, hands-on science, and presentation experience. There are multiple locations in Central AR, each providing support and community for not only students but parents as well. www.classicalconversations.com

Hilltop Academy: Hilltop Academy is a drop off class day that meets on Thursdays for three 10 week terms.  We hope to ease the hands and hearts of home schooling parents by providing a full day of core classes to students in grades 1-8 and afternoon electives to students in grades 1-12. https://www.hilltopacademyar.com/ 

Enrichment Academy:  Enrichment Academy welcomes the opportunity to contribute positively to each student’s education. Benton Homeschool Co-op: At BHC (Benton Homeschool Corporation) their mission is to offer an opportunity to come together to enrich Christian homeschool families learning experiences by providing engaging, social enrichment classes, activities and events that support whatever curriculum your family chooses. Victory 1st Homeschool Co-op: Victory provides a fun and safe learning environment for your child. They are a volunteer-based group, where homeschool parents volunteer to teach a variety of classes including Art, Music, Driver’s Ed, F.A.C.S., Foreign Language and more. Willow Roots Homeschool Program: Have your child join us every Wednesday for our homeschool program! They will participate in a full day at Willow Roots - Learning Center experiencing everything we offer, aside from small groups. Cabot Christian Homeschool Co-Op: They are a non-profit, free-standing, Christian, homeschool organization dedicated to furthering and enriching the education of children.  All our classes are taught by homeschool parents. Meets on Mondays and is parent involved. CCHC Website

Growing Minds 'Tuesday School' Homeschool Co-op: GROWING MINDS is an inclusive, eclectic co-op. Their members homeschool in many different ways and they teach classes based on skills and interests instead of following a particular curriculum. Meets in Beebe, AR on Tuesdays for all ages. HomeStyle Christian Educators of the Ozarks: Homeschool co-op in North Central Arkansas, focused mainly in Mountain Home and the surrounding areas. FCHAA: FCHAA is the Faulkner County Homeschool Athletics Association.  FCHAA offers competitive sports teams for homeschoolers in Faulkner County.  These teams compete against other homeschool teams, non-AAA private schools, and AAA public and private schools. http://www.faulknerfalcons.com/

SOAR Speech and Debate Club: SOAR is a local speech and debate club for Christian homeschoolers and is affiliated with the Stoa Speech and Debate League. The Flames Homeschool Athletics: The Pulaski County Home Education Activities Association (PCHEAA) began in 1995. It was started by parents interested in providing a program that would emphasize character development and provide healthy athletic competition for homeschoolers.They currently offer basketball, volleyball, cross-country and track and field. More info and team sign ups here

Saline County Warrior Basketball: Christian Homeschool Athletics of Saline County Inc. offers a competitive environment for homeschool athletes to compete against a variety of teams including homeschool, public, private, and community teams. More Info Here

Cabot Parks and Rec Swim Lessons: Cabot Parks and Recreation offers the American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program. This program is tailored for children ages 3 years and older. Lessons are taught on a level system starting at Level 1 and ending at Level 6. Website

NSH (Natural State Homeschoolers): NSH is a co-op centered around helping homeschooling parents and students get involved in community functions, meet new friends, all while taking advantage of group discounts. Central Arkansas Field Trips and Fun:

Homeschool skate at the SkatiumOpen to any Homeschoolers or Virtual Learners as a break during school work; $10 per person

Hike Pinnacle Mountain: Hike this iconic Central Arkansas Mountain or hang out and play at one of the many playgrounds, nature trails or at the nature center. 

The Tubes @ Rock Creek Church:  The play tubes will be open to the public Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm! They are also open every Sunday morning before and after the 9 am and 10:45 am services. At times the tubes may be closed with no notice due to cleaning or church events. Historic Arkansas MuseumHistoric Arkansas Museum is home to an historic city block including the oldest building in Little Rock, an 1850s Farmstead, galleries of Arkansas Made art and history ranging from indigenous Arkansans to contemporary artists and artisans.

Old State House MuseumThe Old State House Museum is the original state capitol building of Arkansas and the oldest standing state capitol building west of the Mississippi River. Since 1833, when construction began, the building and its grounds have witnessed many of the most important events in Arkansas history.

Mosaic Templar Cultural CenterThe Mosaic Templars Cultural Center (MTCC) was founded as the Mosaic Templars of America Center for African American Culture and Business Enterprise under Act 1176 of 2001. MTCC was created as a museum of Arkansas Heritage to honor the story of the Mosaic Templars of America and all of Arkansas's African American history

MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History: Located in the historic Tower Building of the Little Rock Arsenal--the birthplace of General Douglas MacArthur. Exhibits feature artifacts, photographs, weapons, documents, uniforms and other military items that vividly portray Arkansas's military history at home and abroad.

Wildwood Park for the Arts: Beautiful grounds and gardens open for exploring as well as an auditorium hosting many local plays and events.

Ron Coleman Quartz Mine:  Ron Coleman Mining, Jessieville, Arkansas crystal mine is where you dig your own crystals. They offer comprehensive quartz crystal mining for all ages and skill levels year-round.
